Hello David,

You know your essay is not so good. You mentioned many very important (you say, cardinal), fascinated things. Titles of your reference sources, I do not mean the content now,.. helium droplet, topology of the quantum vacuum, and so on, are great. I feel your optimism and enthusiasm, but from your essay I am not sure whether you know enough to write on the subject. For instance, you write about ...the possibility of direct supplying of human body through solar radiation. We use solar radiation for many things, like vision. Do you know how the eye sight works, about retina, photo-receptive cells,schemes,chemical molecules? Biocells, including cells in human skin, need solar radiation for their functioning. Helium droplet is a totally different story. You ask a rhetoric question whether we are only material beings. I think it is not exactly a topic for discussion. Yes, we are not material beings, even some have materialistic views.

I wish you bets luck and to bring your thoughts in order.

you raise very many interesting questions to ponder.

Re solar energy: It is necessary for production of vitamin D by the skin cells. I have read that there is a pandemic vitamin D deficiency because especially in developed countries so much time is spent indoors and also avoiding the sun to prevent skin cancer. The irony is that vitamin D deficiency is linked to a number of internal cancers. Vitamin D has many uses in the body and I have heard it called an essential hormone rather than just a vitamin. I suspect that your good health is due to optimizing your vitamin D levels and that good health is reflected in your controlled appetite.

More use can be made of solar technologies, (and other technologies such as wind power), there have been great advances in efficiency.However at this stage the cost is still too high for me to purchase photovoltaic solar panels. Though I did watch an interesting TV programme that showed how to make a water heating panel from black painted aluminium cans.It is daft to be throwing away solar energy and then extracting energy in less environmentally friendly ways, so I agree greater use of solar energy is one direction we should steer towards.Regards, Georgina

Just the mention of God seems to consign essays to the bottom. Yours was very short but had some value, and I do agree better solar energy is our most valid aim, so a small boost coming. But I suspect not responding or reading other essays may drag you back down.
