Video Description

Even in 2014, the question remains, @!$#& Magnets, how do they work? This video aims to answer that question using no math and only textbook physics and maybe a cute kitten. You will find the answer to what is going on magnets that make them want to fly towards each other based on things which are easily observed and understood. If you want to know more details on what makes the magnetic force work, check out the links at the end of the video - after all how much can I explain in only 5 minutes?

Dear Mr. Hu,

Only one end of a magnet is attractive. The other end is repellent. How much of a bar magnet is neutral? If "electrons" only attract, what causes the other end of the magnet to repel. Could it be "anti-electrons"?

Respectfully,

Joe Fisher
