Video Description

Please watch part 1 first (also submitted to this contest). From Aristotle's theory of the spherical Earth to the discovery of the Higgs boson, this is an illustrated journey through the highlights of the history of physics. Part 1 tells the tale of how we discovered that there is one universal physics that applies to the entire observable universe. Part 2 explains how the fundamental forces of physics and the rules of quantum mechanics allow objects to keep their shapes. Part 3 describes the major breakthroughs of the past century, and speculates about what remains to be discovered.

Hello,

great post. I am curious how does one solve three-body problem in your universe?

Thanks.

This video is a truly ambitious grand tour of the major subjects in physics hitting on the important concepts. Of course, more time in some areas would help, as for example how Maxwell's equations are derived and interpreted, and a number of other examples, but the video would be too lengthy. But the goal of this video is, I believe, to touch on, what are the cornerstones of physics, and to trigger the start of understanding, and thus to inspire the viewer to pursue the matter in greater depth. And this, the video, accomplishes extremely well. The graphics are very well done towards that end.

Hi Marc!

Thanks for rating my video. I can say many of the same things about your videos. The narrative was easy to follow, and the animations were to the point. I thought this was an excellent summary of the advancements in physics over the years.

Good luck!

David

Dear sir,

Your videos are very nice, and I learned new things from them. Maybe you can check my video and rate it too!

I greatly enjoyed this video Marc..

I hope to get around to viewing both of your others, before the close of voting. I want to see at least one offering from each of the other videographers entered, however, and then go back for multiple entries. But regardless; I wish you well in the contest. I think you explain things well.

All the Best,

Jonathan
