Hi Jonathan and Jorge,

coincidentally I just watched another video that is talking about cosmic inflation (did you see that one too?) and found it great to have additional background information on the cosmic inflation theory. Jorge, I liked how you visualized the narration and it really helped me understanding the phenomenon (I like to learn with visual cues). I also found the article talking about the discovery and I'm excited to see what the October 2014 result will look like. What are your guesses? It is quite exciting to imagine that we will be able to look at the young universe (well younger than 380.000 years) and (as far as I understood) mostly by quantum physics shaped time.

I hope you are doing well in the competition and wish you luck!

Madeleine

I love how you intentionally used cartoonish visuals to make something complex appear more friendly and easy to understand. May I ask what software you used? I'm in to animation too, and I primarily rely on After Effects and Photoshop.

Would you mind checking out my video as well? It also uses lots of animations to make physics concepts seem easy to understand and fun. http://fqxi.org/community/forum/topic/2148

Thanks!

I appreciate the lucid explanation of the BICEP2 results! Another excellent video. I just rated it and would be really appreciative if you could take a look at our video "What is Supersymmetry?" and rate it as well. Thank you so much.

Jorge,

Having worked in cosmology and met Alan Guth many times when I was in graduate school, I am happy to see that your video about cosmic inflation has reached the 10 community votes threshold (I gave you my vote many days ago).

Did you have the chance to take a look at my series of animated videos entitled "This Is Physics"? One of my videos, "Physics Into Darkness", is still in need of community votes, and if you have the time to take a look at it, it would be quite appreciated. My video features Einstein riding on a meter stick, an "iceberg of mystery" and a slot machine that creates universes!!! Here's the direct link:

Thank you, and good luck in the contest!

hi jorge

elegant comological animation.just voted for you.please take your time to view and vote on my simple video detailing how and what the universe actually is in simple geometry here-
