Mathematical Model of the Heart by Robert Shaw

This is a wonderful video. I have always been a great fan of research in nonlinear dynamics and this video is an excellent visual depiction of these interesting phenomena.

I thought this video was really well done and the topic very interesting. The images are a very cool way of depicting the variations. I would have benefited from some narration, but thats just a personal preference. Very well done overall.

I really enjoyed the nice visual effects in your video.

I'd be curious to learn more about the limit cycles you are discussing. I understand that they describe a periodic oscillation, but what exactly does the curve you are showing represent?

I was also wondering why you are using the word "metaphor" when referring to limit cycles. I was under the impression that they are in fact an accurate mathematical description of biological oscillators, such as the heart. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on this.

Very interesting use of art to demonstrate heart rhythm. My wife has a-fib and I will be showing this to her. I do feel that it could have concentrated more on the physics of the biology however.

its really amazing to see how we can see and solve the problems in nature by physics. may it be in the field of medicine, chemistry etc...

Interesting choices of visuals. The music was perfect and gave the video a sort of enigmatic and other-worldy feel. However, I think adding some narration would've helped instead of the captions, but that's just me.
