I think that any three-dimensional grid, with a wave of any type (in an electronic circuit, voltage, hydrodynamics, elastic, phononic), with a change of the speed obtained by changing the equation of the propagation medium can simulate a quantum black hole (the light creates a metric in the space-time given by the delay of the photons)

Being an experimentalist myself, I really like the idea of doing these kinds of experiments. Of course, these kinds of experiments are really, really a lot more expensive than any measly $75K grant.

The gravitational Casmir effect is a very hot topic right now and being chased all over the planet. Steering photons with pulse shaping is not unlike steering photons with virtual gravity photon quadrupoles. They might also think about using photon quadrupole fields and not just magnetic quadrupoles.

Fun stuff.

Actually, I like your approach, but it does seem like it is more of the same and it is not clear how you address coherent matter...or time...or determinism. The scourge of GR is determinism...

gravitational constant is essential by gravity. We discover why G has such a different values beeing measured in last 30 years....

If LIGO keeps on getting null results then will that falsify gravity's space-time just like the Michelson-Morley experiment falsified the EM aether? What will happen to theories like: the Big Bang, inflation, string theory, loop quantum gravity, and the metric-expansion of space-time?

The steady state theory is out because the CMB is the echo of the Big Bang. There is no way the cosmic microwave background is a thermal reservoir for the slow and continuous creation of matter and anti-matter because that would not violate the conservation of energy law. Those gravity waves will show up soon. LIGO has probably already detected the gravity oscillations but they sure are taking their time releasing their results. They must want to be certain they have a 5 sigma experimental result for the non-falsification of gravity waves.

:P

The search for gravity waves is not futile, just misdirected by the lack of a principle of unification. I like to call them matter waves since gravity and quantum forces are really just versions of each other. Matter is the constant and gravity is simply a scaling of charge force.

The CMB is not a remnant of the big bang, but rather simply a manifestation of a shrinking and not expanding universe. It is not clear to me why this is not clear to everyone else, but that is life.

The energy conservation law works for quantum as well as classical, but needs to allow for interference effects and phase coherence. On the scale of the universe, interference effects can be quite significant.

The LIGO experiment will need to be retuned in order to detect matter waves because electromagnetic effects in some sense parallel gravity effects with interfeometers.
