Essay Abstract
This paper, mainly concerned with the philosophy of physics, examines time, not as an object of our thinking process, but as thinking itself. The separation of the continuum into a series of time intervals is a unique phenomenon only found in our neural processes. Formalism is an abstraction that we project back upon the world after we've separated it into sets. There is no cause and effect without time and its projection.
