Hello Mr. Faucett,
i like the idea of gravity as being that which shapes what we experience as the passing of time - that makes sense to me, gravity being the source of the geometry of our world. i'd made a comment to this effect at Dr. Pitkänen's page.
however, this does not appear actually to be time.
coming to think that, for physics purposes, time needs to be defined very simply, something along the lines of:
"Time is a potential for data to exist."
and further define this relationship as non-commutative; that is, that an absence of detectable data does not necessarily demand that the potential is non-existant.
and all other effects associated with time to be considered as arising from associations of processes in time.
i hope to eventually find the time to read the entirety of your paper - there's a bunch of new posts here, time's growing short.
