A number of reports have appeared recently that raise important questions about the integrity and values of philanthropic bodies and academic institutes, and their leadership.
The Foundational Questions Institute, FQXi, has a zero-tolerance policy for antisemitism, racism, misogyny, ableism, and other forms of oppression and hostility based on race, religion, caste, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
We at FQXi, would like to reiterate that we are committed to making science, in general, and the Institute, in particular, more equitable. Science is diverse, and so are scientists. There can be no doubt that scientific insight is not confined to one group of people but distributed across the whole of humanity.
We hold ourselves to these high standards. Any credible allegations of wrongdoing will be treated with the utmost seriousness.
