This essay explores the importance of expressing science in mathematics as a fundamental aspect of scientific progress throughout history. However, the essay also discusses different and ever-changing science including non-mathematical models, science of advanced aliens, technology without scientific reasoning, science evolution and culture. Finally, the essay explores several areas where science could benefit from further development and improvement, including science communication to the public, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ethical considerations.

    You write:

<<For example, their observations of the universe may have led them to a different understanding of the nature of time or space than we currently have. Similarly, their mathematics may also differ from ours, as mathematical concepts can be developed independently of physical observations.>>

The famous theoretical physicist Carlo Rovelli in the article "Physics Needs Philosophy / Philosophy Needs Physics" lists the questions and topics that are discussed today by theoretical physicists and the first of them "What is space?" and "What is time?"
Does this mean that we still do not understand the "nature of time and space"? And why should "aliens" understand the nature of space and time differently than the Earthlings?

    Next you write:
<<Overall, while it is difficult to predict exactly how similar or different the physics and mathematics of technologically advanced aliens would be, it is likely that there would be some similarities based on the fundamental laws of physics and the universality of mathematics. However, there could also be significant differences based on their observations and perspectives on the physical universe.>>

Obviously, such a conclusion can be made when the problem of "with a beard" is solved - the ontological justification of mathematics (ontological basification), and hence knowledge in general. There is only one Universe for us.

Vladimir Rogozhin Hi , about what he tells about aliens it seems logic if they are more advanced, so they have a different understanding of what is the nature of this space and time , imagine for example that they have found and measured and observed deeper parameters, particles , fields that we have actually on earth with our standard model and its fermions and bosons, imagine that the general relativity is not the only one piece of puzzle and that even the mass energy equivalence of einstein is simply not complete and that we must add and find these deeper scalar , vector and tensors fields , imagine that this dark matter and dark energy are more than we can think, so in a sense it is true what he tells in his essay about more advanced civislisations than us the humans , we know still so few you know generally , universally and philosophically

        Steve Dufourny
        Hello Steve,
That is why, in order not to guess about the ways and level of development of the science of aliens, the modern key problem for the science of Earthlings is the problem of the ontological justification of mathematics (ontological basification), and hence knowledge in general. And for this it is necessary that the paradigm of the Universe as an holistic process of generating meanings, forms and structures come to the aid of the "part paradigm" that is now dominant in science. This requires a Big Ontological revolution in the foundations of knowledge and the construction of a New Expanded Ideality - ontological basis of knowledge: an ontological framework, carcass, foundation. Modern Phenomenological Physics must become Ontological Physics.
Therefore, the great thinkers of the past era left philosophical covenants to the seekers of truth:
Pavel Florensky: “We repeat: worldunderstanding is spaceunderstanding.
A.N. Whitehead: “A precise language must await a completed metaphysical knowledge.
John A. Wheeler: “We are no longer satisfied with insights only into particles, fields of force, into geometry, or even into time and space. Today we demand of physics some understanding of existence itself."

The absolute forms of the existence of matter (absolute states) are the same in the entire Cosmos (Universe).
In order to "grasp" (understand) the dialectics and "logic of the Universe", its absolute (existential, ontological) space, it is necessary to think deeper into the Meta-Axiom "In the Beginning was the Logos.../"Ἐν ἀρχῇ ἦν ὁ λόγος..." ,
where "Logos" is the MetaLaw that governs the Cosmos (in the spirit of Heraclitus). And then "grasp" (understand) the nature (ontological status) of the phenomenon of time.

          Vladimir Rogozhin

Yes indeed I agree the problem on earth is this about the ontology. We are also I believe humbly too much conservative and it blocks the creativity and imagination also unfortunatelly. I agree also about the primary essence of these absolute states, they are the same at all scales everywhere inside this universe , these meta laws like you tell are a reality and the aim is to find them but not easy due to limitations but we evolve quietly and surely also, it could be well to accelerate the process of researchs , the AI is a good tool to accelerate this process and also the complemetarity instead of this competition, we are too much divided , the common past of adaptation and this global economical system has created adapatations where we are in competition, isolated or working in small teams, and this vanity also seems a problem, we could reach incredible results if we worked all in complementarity with the actual technologies, tools, knowledges and models , best regards
