FQxI's Jen Eisert, one of the recent grant-winners in our Information as Fuel program, and colleagues have published a new paper in Nature Communications: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-024-52629-3. The paper involves calibrating Google's Sycamore chip and has implications for building analog quantum simulators. On Twitter/X, Eisert wrote: "Now we have a method to learn Hamiltonians ultra-precisely in the presence of noise and imperfections, so that one can equip #analogquantumsimulators with more predictive power.
