So, most physicists don’t agree on how the world should be represented mathematically, i.e. in terms of categories, numbers, and relationships. And they don’t agree on how these mathematical symbols should be interpreted.
But one thing that physicists seem to agree on, or tacitly assume, is that mathematics is a self-sufficient entity that knows its own mathematical situations, and that moves its own numbers.
But this is clearly not true.
Despite the delta symbols in the equations, and despite the energy category that is symbolised in the equations, the mathematical symbols of physics can’t represent how a mathematical system could know itself or how a mathematical system could move its own numbers that apply to the categories. The mathematical symbols of physics merely represent relationships between categories.
I think that physicists are barking up the wrong tree trying to find the “killer” equations that symbolically represent the world.
I think that they should be looking at how does mathematics itself work, and they should be symbolising how mathematics itself works.
How mathematics itself works can only be symbolised using algorithmic/ logical connective symbols.
These algorithmic/ logical connective symbols represent an unrecognised, but necessary, aspect of the real-world mathematical system, an aspect that CAN’T be represented by the equations of physics.
