Hello dear Juan,

Verry interesting .

Do you know a beautiful book ,name the Contemplations ,it's in French and by Victor Hugo ,very beautiful poems about the nature and its contemplations .

Probably Siddartha Gottama could like that .

Like Kalil Gibran and its contemplations of the truths and the universal love .

Thanks for the post.

Although I think contemplation would be the ultimate limit of science I also think we should be doing practical things most of the time.

I have read some of the books by Victor Hugo but I have not read the one you mention. I will look for it and hope not much is lost in translation because I do not read French.

Faith is one of many things that keep us from watching things as they are, so I try to be allways open and respectful to anyones beliefs. Most beliefs have a reasonable part in them. --as long they don't make people kill each other --

for example the quest to produce a TOE will surelly lead us to some good conclusions even if it does not produce a TOE.

I think there is enogh of us to walk the different paths.

But each of us has to take a position.

It's a great thing most essays do take a position

Hi Juan ,

You are welcome .

Yes indeed Victor Hugo is so creative ,....an other is "the End of Satan ",where the poems are related with some sacred writings .

Mr Hugo is for me the best poet in French with Baudelaire ,Do you know its three books, only three in fact ,"The artificial paradises","The spleen of Paris" and "The flowers of the bad"

Do you know the Albatros ,very beautiful poem .

I like too Voltaire ,and the "philosophical tales"....a beautiful story is Micromegas ,very relevant this text .

I agree about the TOE ,even if I think what my spherisation is a gauge ,but like I said ,all fundamenatls theories evolve and the complemenatrity is a main piece of the puzzle .

The evolution and our young universal age are like a TOE ,they evolves and optimise themselve .

Of course when the physical fundamentals are respected ,there a difference between math and physic is necessary and that to balance the fundamenatls in all extrapolations .

Here on FQXi ,I see so many creative minds ,so many interesting ideas ,I learn all days here .It's a real pleasure for me to read all these ideas .

Even if I don't agree with all ,it's very interesting .

I like writing in fact ....here is some words with humility of course

"The Humanity is like a Rainbow ,a diversity of colors united in the light "

"It's difficult to turn of a Big fire with one water drop ,nevertheless a whole of drops makes Ocean"

Happy to know you

Sincerely

Steve

I have read a lot of posts from you on other essays, I have seen you have a theory and some good things about it. I would like to have some references to your theory to get to know it. Spanish or english would be great, otherwise italian or french would do it. Not too technical please.

I encourage you to submit an essay, so does Ray B Munroe and others, your problem with english is less than my technical problems with hi level math/physics.

Best..

Hi Juan ,

Thanks .It's nice .

I am too isolated and like I said I must coordonate all that and publish .

I am a very bad administrator .

I am 34 years old and it's time to organize all that correctly .

I need partners .I will tell you the evolution .

For the essay contest ,oh My God I don't know how can I do ,ten pages is not sufficient to resume all .I t's not serious in fact .

Best Regards

Steve

i went through your essay and find it full of fun. Normally we lack fun in science. But life really is funny with hardly any stablity for long enough duration! Universe in our comparision appears to be in steady state now but was not so closure to its birth with Big Bang! Now the human mind is what perceives through the different sense organs that includes the brain! Thus i distinguish between mind and brain. Mind is what is having consciousness and with death it goes too. But somehow i feel that individual consciousness , a part of it remains, as a component of universal consciousness (= God). There was study by a Nobel laureate of Oxford University's Neurology Dept. that he made on SMA of brain. He discovered that the neurons therein were getting activated when these were not supposed to. It attributed it to external simulations/interactions that were reaching there. he assumed that there has to artificial covering of SMA region of the brain that records such interactions. he further percieved that such recordings do not die with the death of the body and may well remain permanantly. Thus there are lot of surprises in store for Physics if it only opens itself to strong interaction and collaboration with life sciences, hoping one day to read ' the mind '.

In my essay on the website here, i have attempted tom put some things unknown with some perspectives. these remain to be tested with times and thus Physics will live on , provided we expand the horizon beyond the present limits!!

After my post of Oct 08, no one has apparently seen your essay or chose to put any comments. It is about a month now. I just happen to visit again by chance. It seems that the number of essays may be categorized. At the most a person may try to go through 25 essays. Normally it may just be a dozen or so. Thus, every author may be allowed to choose only about 10 other essays only and vote for them. Perhaps the ranking is also a difficult thing to do.Three rankings/grades may be introduced instead of score of 1-10. May be FQXI consider opening for separate judgement the authors to assess other authors for the postings/comments they have made on their own as well as other authors contributions. It may help improve better considered comments by the authors. Public members may not consider postings for judging the essays, except the postings made on that particular essay on which they express their individual vote. Sorry that i put this comment here on your essay that has hardly been seen by many, but deserve better attention than it got!

NN:

I agree it was hard to evaluate all essays the way it turned out. Specially because many essays were submited on the dead line, so in a couple of days we got a quite large number of new essays. Then it wasn't easy to sort (some times it wasn't even easy to return to the comments of an essay you liked)

Then there is a problem when your name is outside of some circles, -academic, research,etc.- it is completly understandable people reads first the essays from people they know, then with the large number of essays and following comments on many essays it becomes hard.

Anyway it was a lot off fun writting the essay, and getting a grasp of what some specialist are thinking and doing on the edge of physics. I had been out of contact from theoretical physics for 20 years, until I found the essay contest by mistake. I started studing physics again just to be able to follow some ideas on the essays.

The physics bug has bitten me, and that was because of the essay contest.
