Essay Abstract
An examination of reality as we know and perceive it is presented and questioned in terms of defining reality as digital, analog, or both. The theories of reality as they have evolved over time are also analyzed with respect to their inadequacy to fully describe reality. I include a case study of the heating effect on a space vehicle entering the atmosphere from outer space as a means of depicting reality. In this essay, I offer an empirical means for a Unified Field Theory in an attempt to provide the meaning of reality, our capabilities in describing it, its evolvement over time, and its true nature. With this empirical approach, I propose an in depth analysis of the reality of nature and the nature of reality.
