Dear Georgina,
We knew that we didn't fully address the question. We knew that we couldn't address it and the Cold/Hot Force theory in the page constraints for this essay; the theory was so vast that we left HUGE amounts of supporting information out so . So, we opted to explain the theory in light of laying down the pieces for explaining whether the universe was analog or digital. We believe it to be both. Kindly put as "Infinite in the finite." A crude example would be to imagine this: if you took a pencil and drew a line on a piece of paper, you can hear the pencil scratch across the page, you can see a line being formed behind the tip as you drag the pencil across, this is an example of analog. The line is finite, it has a beginning and an end, but if you fold that piece of paper where each end of the line touches each other, that line continues on forever; the infinite in the finite.
"Everything we see and hear is a continuous transmission of information to our senses. This continuous stream is what defines analog data"

"Digital information only estimates analog data...digital information can also be copied, edited, and moved without losing any quality"

To add, everything in the universe can also be described in numbers which contributes to the digital aspect of reality. Using these definitions and the example I gave, you can see how these 2 sides start to blend together. Like that drawing, nature can be copied, edited, and moved; if we can understand the underlying principles of our universe, then anything can be done with the right method of approach. To say the universe is only one or the other is like denying the existence of one-side of a two-sided coin. The Question whether our or not our universe was Analog or digital isn't blatantly expressed in the essay, rather, if one understood the approach of the proposed theory you would see that the answer to the question is in the understanding of the theory.
