It is important what you told us and I like your general reasonings because the universe must know like you explained. We can maybe make a kind of general syntheis for the quantum mechanics, the philosophy of mathematica and the nature of this consciousness. The ideas of Pnerose and t
he quantum collapse can be extrapolated with the concept of a foundational infinite omnipotent consciousness in 0D . It is there that your ideas with the non symbolic nature of reality becaome relevant about our existence and our reality that we observe.
That implies limits of microtubule and these collapses and so we go beyond the reasoning of Hameroff and Penrose and these collapses. So their reasonings that I respect needs to go farer than only the biological analysis ,that implies that these brain structures alone are just localised like tuners , tranducers but we need deeper undiscovered parameters at my humble opinin, physical and ontological beyond the actual standard quantum mechanics.
So the brains do not really generate this consciousness , rather it filters and localizes a foundational reality into a finite human experience from this 0D , but the problem is how exactly. There are probably ways with the geometrical algebras and these deeper parameters but I dont know.The Problem is that if true about this 0D infinite eternal consciousness omnipotent knowing it is not easy to find how it acts permitting the reality. The reasoning so about our place on this universe is about the distinction ontological betweem the infinite consciousness and our finite consciousness , so that implies different modes , the 0D infinite omnipotent eternal consciousness so is non local because in 0D , it is everywhere inside and outse this physicality , and it is there it is important with your reasoning because without spatial separation, it knows.
Our finite consciousness is localised within our finite physical biological bodies and we have an arrow of time and dimensions, and so the observations seem important , so the bridge between the 2 is difficult, because this 0D and the diemsnions have a logic but how.
What you told us so is important, even very important about the mathematics, the reality, and the not symbolic calculation . The symbols and the reality are so different because indeed the manmade symbols , the computers , the humans expend the actual time and energy to calculate the physical world , the reality. But the 0D omniptent does not work like this , it does not run an universal computer , it is instantaneous about the structural relationships and categories .So this knowledge of the universe and awarenees for the instantaneous, simultaneous re;lationships tell us that we need this foundational universal consciousness. So we need this bridge about the locality and non locality. So the collapses of the wave function is more than just a localised neural event. With all my respects for Pensrose that I like , it is maybe his error ontologically , universally speaking.
The mainstream about the consciousness does not want to go farer than just the brain , but it seems that the universe resolves instantly because it knows what do differently than our symbolic calculations. Our observations with our physical bodies interact with the universal 0D framework but how , what is this bridge.
All this implies a deeper logic of the reality , what we measure as collapse in our quantum mechanics is about localised finite observations but these deeper unknown parameters with this 0D non local intelliegence, consciousness is the point to understand . So the spacetime and this GR,and QFT has created a kind of ontological prison because it is limited. The strings theory and this GR is taken like the mainsteam and they are all persuaded ontologically but their error for me is to begin in 1D instead to consider this 0D knowing what do and implying that this GR and strings are limited. Mathematical accident of a kind of God of spinoza, it is not the problem ontologically , the problem is this ontological bridge and that fact to consider this 0D instead of this 1D to begin , this is an important philosophical ontological problem. For me and I dont assert he real secret is to find the bridge between this 0D and the 3D quantum spheres instead to considider the GR like primary essence and this 1D of strings.
