A pure chemical element has non observation dependent characteristics, likely to be the consequence of its existing chemical structure. That is, the model taken to be true Subatomic particle arrangement provides a rational and consistent working explanation for the qualities of samples of pure elements and the differences between them.
The persistence of the element's characteristic qualities is noticeable in the consistency of observed results and measurements. Unless undergoing another process other than existing in a pure state, pattern of atomic structure, there is no non simultaneity of observations of different observers at different positions and times. The qualities of a chemical element are the same regardless of the day of the week, observed near or from far away, observed from different angles . Appearance such as shape or hue may vary but whether solid liquid or gas when the outside room is at room temperature, whether hard or soft, reactive or nonreactive or moderately so, metallic or non metallic, and so on, do not change. If they change, the pure element is no longer the same pure element . A different material exists, an impure element , as a mixture, maybe an alloy or joined chemically to something else, as a compound
Non observation dependent reality, includes the existing material structure but not necessarily the organisation of the material.

Dimensions pertaining to Object, material reality?;

Orientation of the dimensions of space is not Absolute. How many dimensions does space, the , external to the observer, environment have?Observation independent existence does not have dimensions applied , the dimensions are part of the representation of relative semblamces. Absolute material existence within the environment external to the observer could be regarded as all orientations of the orthogonal dimensions at any one time or none. The representations in theoretical superposition as all are themselves correct, though matter itself can not be in superposition according to the Pauli exclusion principle for fermion particles

Rather than being directly on top of one another the relative, usually surface semblances, need to be correctly arrayed with the viewpoint of each ‘in mind’.Thinking of the elephant material object felt by 6 blind men. The representation of the elephant drawn for each blind person’s testimony placed on top of each other does not produce a picture representation of an elephant. But correctly arrayed in relation to how the men were positioned, a partially correctly organised collection of images can be produced representing the animal . Partial because of missing information. There are only enough men to produce one ear and one leg of the representation.

For very large distances or time intervals between potential sensory data emission and receipt another imagined dimension can be used in mapping. This is the time dimension, also known as the 4th dimension. Items mapped here are representation of observation products. They are not material objects.
Passage of time is the change in whole material configuration of the uni temporal existing universe. Each different configuration can be considered a different time, The change is sequential, the time interval chosen may be a regular interval of choice as appropriate e.g. years, days or milliseconds or like ice ages the division of of intervals refer to the material change itself but not necessarily equal intervals of time. This can be represented by a time line or lines, showing different scales or other divisions. which are not actually material reality or a geometric dimension.

Because the material universe is Uni-temporal, just one time throughout, existing material objects are not spread over time, not even potential sensory data in the form of wave-carried existing particles. The mapping of the representation of semblances of objects formed using data emitted by different material universal configurations, that is passage of time has happened. Not all data received together, or in close proximity was emitted by material in the same configuration of the material universe. The observation product semblances of the emitting source or sources consequently show a temporal spread that the material sources don’t necessarily have. There is no need to assume they have. Occam's razor would say it is preferable to assume they don’t have temporal spread.

Space-time, also called the space time continuum, is a theoretical construct where events are located. Unlike the data pool subset of Object reality, which is where potential sensory data is distributed. Although the individual energy of photos and group intensity relates to their release from the source object at an earlier time, they only exist currently, not spread over time.

contiued-
The gravitational field and electric and magnetic fields have been traditionally presumed to be in space-time, not merely represented as being there, that having been taken to be the external environment.
The proposition that Space-time is needed to account for variability of temporal experience, or differences in time keeping is incorrect., A (sample) slice of space (not space-time) would contain photons emitted at different times, not of uni-temporal origin.
A slice of marble cake shows patterns related to the condition of the mix during production, it’s history, though the material slice of cake exists wholly in the current and only materially existing Now.

Representation of observationdependent, generated 'reality'.

A map of observation products generated can be shown placed , using 3 (imagined) spatial dimensions. Imagined because these are not the actual space in which the source objects are located I.e., occupied by the Absolute material objects but representation of the semblances produced using sensory information receipt. The orientation of the 3 dimensions in fixed relationship to each other is not objective but decided by the observer. Using the basis of their own orientation if not standing upright or the direction of gravity’s effect (To select what is going to show up and down.) In the absence of gravity, i e it can’t be used for that purpose, another seen reference point or direction that can be relied on staying constant can be used to always orient the dimensions in fixed relation (Orthoganol) to each other, in the same way, for easy comparison. Different observers may orient their dimensional representation of what is seen , with fixed orthogonal relationship between dimensions, differently but the representation is still valid for the particular observer perspective or viewpoint.

Special Relativity, slowing of clocks

The mass being forced to move through the environment including base substance could account for time dilation theory of Special Relativity, The particle or object being affected by the very small wave properties of the environment or a gravitational interaction is a question of mass of the movable thing. Too much mass deforms and overwhelms the wave effect.
There is a range of behviour correlated with an existing mass interacting with the observation independent, existing environment particle pairs when state outcomes of each individual particle ought to somehow be randomly arising.
This is only a problem because the underlying Object reality is not considered. The pair is behaving as a pair, showing expected correlations for a pair

Created as a pair , having correlated attributes, They are existing things as is the generating apparatus , room, technician. As can reasonably be expected for existing things ,they have object parmenance. They still exist when not observed and their condition is the same unless disturbed by some other existig thing. Therefore itcan act as templarte for the observation or mesurement sollving the measurement problem. It doesn't randomly choose a state when observed /measured. Therefore no need to propose entanglement as the template in observation independent reality determines outcome states found.

Un-temporal I e. Just one time , foundational time for observation independent reality as also called Object reality, but also emergent observer generated time, meaning experience of non simultaneity is possible, does not permit closed time like curves for material existing objects. This means the grandfather type paradox does not apply. Faster than light couldn't cause a closed timelike loop by hypothetical backwards time travel seen by an outside observer with such a theoretical viewpoint.

Modern interpretation of light having the photon acting as both a wave form and particle, so called wave/particle duality is unsatisfactory.
Interference and other wave like properties, such as destructive interference are possible, passing through double slits and recombined after a beam splitter making an interference pattern,. Typical of wave interference, builds up from individual photon hits when the time between photon arrival is controlled. Described as doing the experiment with a single photon which is a figure of speech, not an accurate description.
(Rhetorical ) Why does there seem to be spreading in an interference pattern over a distance unobserved in the external environment, spreading out in the environment leading to the interference pattern seen built upon the screen., ond yet a full; photon of energy is able to impact the screen, detector, enabling detection?. Less than a whole photon can’t be detected as a particle/ corpuscle.
(Reply) I don't believe it is a shape shifter, choosing to be either form, I think It is evidence of environmental disturbance, that can be represented as a wave form over time. It can be slit and combined making an unseen nterference pattern in the environment. That environmental influence leads to the build up of the interference patteen onthe screen. Due to the shape/ topology of the disturbance some regions are more likely to be occuped by the photon particle/corpuscle than others. While in the environment the photon particles/ corpuscles are carried by the wave, accounting for the speed if travelling being unaffected by speed of photon source or recipient.

Hypothesis suggesting a reason for behaviour of photons passing through a stack of glass plates

Hypothesis; Photons passing through a stack of glass plates are either reflected or not according to where they are in the wave cycle, of the carrying base substance wave, at the boundary of each. Demonstrating the base substances involvement in movement of photon particle / corpuscle through transparent materials. |It would explain why provability amplitudes for what happens at a photomultiplyer (detection of a whole photon particle/ corpuscle or not) in response to what happens at each boundary can be calculated. There is an up and down pattern of probability of reflection that is wavelike even though the photon at this time is thought to be a particle/ corpuscle, fitting the experimental evidence of the photoelectric effect,.Problem set out during : The Vega Science Trust, Auckland University, Douglas Robb Memorial Lectures, Richard Feynman no.2 Fits of transmission and reflection

There are no experimental results of, interferometer involved quantum experiments ,that can't just as well be explained by waves in a divisible external environment filling substance, carrying an indivisible detectable particxle. The divisible wave undetecxtable, except by the interference pattern due to recombination of the parts of it. Corresponding with the hydrosdynamic bouncing oil droplet model.
'Entanglement' experiments are equally well explained by the existence of correlated absoluite particles created as a pair and pre-existing as a template for the partal contextural results,.
Superposition and entanglement belong to a particular explanatory framework, not neccesarily correctly modeling observation independent reality. Object permanence is ignored as is the likelihood of illusion which is a known phenominum that occurs with lack of information.

Young’s double slit experiment is a way of demonstrating the ubiquitous substance that hosts divisible waves when disturbed by release of sub atomic particles that are not under normal, everyday, circumstances divisible.
Recombination of the divided waves beyond the slits gives wave interference, constructive and destructive.
Alteration of environmental conditions provides areas more and less suitable for carrying a particle to the screen. This results overtime in the build up of a banded interference pattern from individual impacts. When photons are used the brightness of a band corresponds to the number of photons hitting the screen. More suitable areas of the wave disturbance after recombination for carrying the particle give the most hits and are brightest, the least suitable, the least hits and are dark.

Semi determinism, shared constraint and control of free will

Within Einstein’s space-time continuum, determinism reins supreme. Past, present and future, all are happening with the same status. The depiction of the universe in that model, is completely static object. Observer’s within, somehow separate from it, experience change as they move through it along their particular World line. Like a movie replay nothing changes. despite the illusion that it does. In this model of the universe cause and effect are not really cause and effect as nothing is caused and nothing results from the preceding circumstances. It just has that appearance.
A partial solution is possible by having the time dimension extend from past to present, with an unwritten, open future. This still leaves the theoretical possibility of Grandfather type paradoxes
The many Worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, in which there is a World for each possibility that could be actualized. At observation or measurement by an observer which corresponds to when a wavefunction mathematically representing the possibilities in superposition is altered to represent the effect of an observer looking at the outcome states or measurement.
Instead of just one outcome state being actualized as in the Copenhagen interpretation, all outcomes become real in different Worlds. This would mean gross violation of conservation of energy. One World’s worth becoming at least two, though it may be argued that the law of conservative of energy only applies where there is a single universe.
Instead lets consider uni-temperal foundational passage of time and no time dimension of the universe of existing things /including materials and objects:. Time associated with the pattern of the Observation independent universe always Now. At one time throughout. What people see is irrelevant to what it is, its existing rather than its appearance.
If the history of a person, as an example of an object, is considered historically in such a universe; their history can be imagined set out along a time line from birth to the present. With cause and effect, internal and external, showing what happens next and where they go throughout their life. The line doesn’t actually exist Now. Though the effects of encounters on the journey can have effects subsequently by alteration to the internal state, maybe metabolically, maybe psychologically, having affected the working of the body for example or brain development.
Imagine now the person represented as a blue sphere in one location Now.(The unseen, one universal time, everywhere ) The self propelling sphere, with internal, adjustable mechanism Where it goes next and what it interacts with next will depend on the external ‘landscape of possibilities. As well as the internal drives and inhibitions. Motivation, drives and inhibition of them come from the limbic system. These are also affected by factors in the external environment.
      Motivation
Fear of : failure pain, penalty, punishment , humiliation. embarrassment, verbal abuse, loss of kudos./social status, loss of time to do something else with more reward!<
Anticipation of reward for success, pleasure,, praise, monetary gain, kudos/social status, self satisfaction
Likelihood of success vs failure. A worth it or not calculation
Curiosity- is there potential benefit or threat
      emotional drives
Anger (can be a response to disappointment - attempt to make conditions more favorable for the individual),
Seeking (for resources to enable survival of the individual, or potential mates, other resources to make life easier or more pleasant)
Lust (drive to ensure reproduction of the species)
Rage ( emergency protection of individual’s life),
Contentment (All’s well, cease striving to conserve energy/) Depression (Maybe ill, lack of social support, inescapable hardship or unfavorable conditions cease activity, wait for help or until conditions improve, rest and recuperate)
Fear-(preparation for fight or flight response to feared stimulus
This will depend on innate personality, amongst other determinants affecting confidence and ambition, religious education, secular education, political education, family attitudes and circumstances, friends attitudes, financial means, practical means, health, fitness, nutritional status, hydration, attitude to responsibilities and duty. Fear and self confidence may be increased or decreased according to imposition of law and bylaws nd enforcement of them, local and national policy/ authoritarianism, interplay with adore mention ed modifiers of drive and inhibitions.
As there can be seen, there are lots of internal factors that affect our response and reaction to the environment we are currently in

      the external landscape of possibilities_
Think again of a person like a ball rolling through a landscape where the places events, conditions are depicted as an abstract landscaper of hills A dip in the landscape - Staying in a location the deeper and so header to get out of sot the person is more likely to stay and so on.
Each possibility has a likelihood of happening or existing and also of or each person being attractive, repulsive or neutral at each Now. The motivation, given by the interplay of drivers and inhibitions oh the person could be simulate by adjusting the motion of the’ ball’ s interaction with the external environment’s landscape of possibilities.
Where does that leave determinism? There are many factors internal and external and influencing the outcome. I haven’t talked about other people who are possibility both influencers and themselves influenced by the environment and their own drives and inhibitions. How they affect the person., will depend on whether they are competitors or collaborates, somewhere in between or irrelevant tot the person as there is no interaction. As if an inconsequential part of the background scenery,
How much influence does the person have over the material environment and happenings. That depends om the person and the environment they happen to be in, and what happens
How much influence does the person have over their internal environment. Partial. As children we may have little choice over our exposure to outside influence. As adults we have some contr

A World line can be seen more like a sledging run than random path or predetermined route. You would not choose to pick an unfavourable path, You have some, though limited, choice of where you go and end up. Maybe we could imagine a number of different mountain paths we could take. Each constrained between walls of snow, keeping you on the path. You might, nevertheless, choose to take a shortcut path or even go cross country a little, though there is more risk and it might require more energy.

A response to Tim Maudlin's desparaging remarks about Kant on YouTube and questioning the necessity of apriori material existence as Einstein's special relativity asks for. I reiterate what
I said on the George Ellis Existence thread. This maybe a better place for that.

Kant was on to something .He realises the need for an obsever independent material existence as well as what we are aware of, our relative perception, but doesn't really explain why this is neccessary.
The necessity of apriori material existence before observer involvement Georgina Woodward
Human beings do not see material things /objects-themselves. They see liknesses ( observation products also called Image realities) which are formed from the reciept and processing of sensory data obtained at that particular place, at that time, by that observer. What is seen corresponds to the brain activity that is stimulated .In particular the visual cortex where the image is identified and parts of the brain where associated memory and learning is located. The sensory data that is used to provide vision is photon particles ,released by material objects into the environment and carried by waves though it. Only when processed, is the likeness seen. it corresponds to the object when the sesnsory data was released not when recieved by an obsever. Thus it is seen as it was not neccesarily as it is now/ has become. In order to shed sensory data an object must necessarily exist as such.

Using (What makes a good physical theory?) as a guide. As outlined by T,. Maudlin in YouTube video containgthat name.

        1. Whatever else the theory needs. Physics is a human science made by humans for humans ,helping us understand our experience of the world /universe that we inhabit.
We experience it via our senses (and products) and human made, human accesssible techhnology, not directly. i.e.selected results or observations- viewpoints
The way it is expreerienced has an effect on what it sems to be to us, assuning eroneously direct access.

Absolute simultaneity, the preffered foliation of time, a-Now comes from the seqential change of all physical reality, becoming by recycling, reuse and change rather than replication.
Relativity comes from how we experIence the environment, via sensory stimulus reciept and processing. The sensory data is affected by absolute change of physical reality but when it is recieved also matters.

Response to 1st half of video.
Maudlin supports the idea that there has tobe a direction of time despite it being time reversaible, This is what gives us before and after, cause and effect.

            Georgina Woodward
Continued- He says that Newton thought their was a direction of time and Newtonian physics has a foliation or slicing of space and time that is global, an event affecting the whole world and universe at once.
            T. Maudlin says that in his opinion a return to a singular absolute global/universal foliation is needed by modern physics.
Einstein's relativity, SR and GR completely 'did away with' foliation of time and a singular Now.
            T. Maudlin argues that Einstein still thinks there is passage of time, proper time with a direction globally. He argues that Subjectively individual obsevers may disagree, their individual, only local viewpoint is irrelevant to the universal process of evolution accoss time, 'globally'.
