As we are considering what exists materially and not just perception originating as data receipt (Observation ) Leading to formation of observation product.
A material object only exists Now. the object now has coordination of the object and the object to be is a building up or disintegration / degradation or changed arrangement of the object now. The restoration of the object allows it to persist through time. They only persist for some time, they are not everlasting.
If the history of matter is materially real after it has been -Now. The amount of matter is spread over at least two material versions of the universe. Now and at least one then.
Block time?
There is no evidence that the material universe is more than unitary. Different observers have individually made a likeness observation product using the potential sensory data received at their location. From this it seems as if the past continues to exist after it has already been seen to occur, as there is still potential sensory data in the environment from which an observation product can still be formed.
This gives a uni -temporal (one time only)material universe There is also, within the material universe, observers themselves material who experience sequences of observation products, Passage of time is experienced the by awareness of the sequence likenesses.

Advantages of such a model.
Allows relativity of observation
Doesn’t allow grandfather type paradox
Contains both existing material reality and generated images
Explains why the paradoxes of SR theory are not really
Explains the perceived arrow of time
Takes account of how sensory perception occurs.
Fits the laws of thermodynamics, particularly relevant to law 1
Allows the same model of reality irrespective of scale.

Is image reality, that is meaning our observed present (personal sequence of observation products) 4d block time. The observation products can relate to data released at the same time making a uni-temporal ensemble. A moment can therefore have some temporal thickness or spread, the data used to made it originating at different times. Human sight produces an amalgamation of two 2d images, with horizontal and vertical spatial dimensions, also with a virtual perspective spatial orthogonal to them and overlaid by virtual time dimension. Observation products like stars can appear very old because the data they emitted long ago has traveled through near empty space, but not a complete void and not been absorbed in collision with dust particles, rock or debris.
Problems of growing block time models

Socks 

Are manufactured as a subtly shaped left and a right foot which when the feet are together, like appendages at the bottom of a pair of human legs. The pair of toes the pair of heels, and the pair of sock openings, point in the same direction.
Now imagine the socks on mannequin legs rather than human legs .
The mannequin legs can be separated and then placed apposite each other for measurement of the socks. in a position that is un-natural for human legs.

There is a left and right sock, materially whether the parts point in same direction will depend on what is done to go from a natural human leg arrangement to a mannequin legs opposite each other. if just tuned from parallel to facing each other toes pointing up both remain pointing up although the legs are now orientated in opposite directions, soles facing each other.

An important distinction to make, is between a materially existing object and an observation product, including those made by the nervous system of a sentient being. The observation product comes into being when observation occurs. A materially existing thing exist whether it is seen or not. we can know it exists pror yto observation of it because the senses work by using receipt of stimuli which act as potential sensory data. this is how vision, hearing and olfactionsense of smell) The stimuli are released into the environment . If not received, such as eyes closed or ears and nose blocked, no observation product is formed. The same would apply for a devices artificial sensors
this means that different observers can revive potential sensory data released into the environment at different times. light and sound waves do not persist indefinitely in a terrestrial environment but are absorbed by matter, if not first received by an observer, which will use it to produce a likeness or copy which is not equivalent to, same thing as the source object,
The seen rabbit observation product is due to electrical activation of specific parts of the brain, especially the visual cortex, within the observer, together with the thought that it exists outside,. The materially existing rabbit is protein, collagen and bone molecules mainly, which is actually outside of the observer.
Light and sound waves can last far longer in space due to sparcity of matter to collide with.
The current arrangement of matter and its current ongoing change in arrangement exists now. The material now precedes the seen present as to see that particular arrangement requires potential sensory data to be released into the environment from that particular arrangement. it is matter not waves, but matter, chemicals in the air. They can become too diluted to detect. Still conditions are more favourable tha a strong breeze, which will blow away the smell stimulus and give more rapid dissipation.
The seen rabbit, formed as an observation product, when the rabbit is takeout of the hat. Yet a materially existing rabbit has to preexist and release potential sensory data into the environment, that is used in the process of vision. Ultimately resulting, in formation of the observation product.
Any magician will be able to tell you that the rabbit only appears to have magically come into existence upon observation, ie when the observation product is made by the observer. A rabbit cannot be taken out of the hat without first being in there, having been put in by the magician, while the audience is distracted, so the placing of the rabbit is unnoticed, or climbing in itself, probably having been trained to do so.

The orientation of the particle or sock unseen is not coming into existence at observation and is not communicating to a, yet to be materially real other partner or object it’s state, so that both are correctly aligned as a pair. Their material existence and material alignment precedes measurement. The observation product formed at observation, is consistent with the material existence that precedes it and its alignment. Resulting from how the pair is formed and its subsequent separation, not the measurement process The pair can be treated the same, preserving their relationship, or differently not preserving their relationship. Sometimes a couple of particles presumed to be a pair are not correlated so results are skewed.

That is to say ,isn't the proposal of quantum physics the antithesis of relativity ,as it does not accommodate the reason for it' s happening?.

It seems that Relativity is ony taking account of formation of observation products formed from long lasting 'light' that has come from space. Treating the observation products as if they are material objects. ie confusing the seen with indepenently existing matter. That is not all light emitted or reflected within an environment. Emmited and reflected by objects that have come to exist after the big bang ( If it happened.) Later on anyway.

1. Physicists, rightfully, represent the low-level physics of the world using special symbols, like equations and numbers. But it seems to me that you are, inappropriately, attempting to describe the low-level physics of the world with ambiguous high-level, human language, word, sentence and paragraph symbols.
2. “Block time” is just an interpretation of the physics, it is not the actual physics, and it is not the only interpretation.
3. Physicists attempt to MEASURE the world, which is a way of trying to be objective about the world, and not get subjective consciousness mixed up with the physics of the world. It seems to me that you are, inappropriately, mixing up human subjective consciousness with the physics.

Sounds a bit chicken or egg ;we can have different material objects seen as they are but at different times because of their spatial separation which is also a time separation. So each will give different result because they belong to different reference frames and can not be regarded as the same giving a singular result. Or there is only one time for material source objects to be at.We do not see them though but observation products formed when potential sensory data is received and processed by an observer .Due to their different spatial location they may be different distances from the observer,so it takes different amounts of time from emission or reflection from Source object to observer.Causing an implication of time. The first model is driven by the chosen explanation (3=1d) whereas the second uses a natural process that we know occurs as a starting point. Not equivalent though.

what about black cat in dark coal cellar, not facing a would be observer but intent on finishing his plate of food. How can that be as it cannot take definite form at a singular place if not observed, according to quantum mechanics?
IF no observation product is formed (too dark) That alone doesnot rule out the possibility of an un-seen material cat. A bit like asking if the moon is there when I don't look. In relativity there are many different possible seen moons depending on the position of the observer. If one shuts his eyes,for himalone the moon ceases to be a part of his vision but it is still seen by the others and still exists as a material object , affecting tides
