Hi DH,
this essay submission appears to be an approximately 3100 character stub out of a potential maximum of 25,000 characters. Was it perhaps truncated on submission? It reads more like an abstract for a yet to be developed argument. You make broad claims about “informational advantages” without really defining any concrete information-theoretic process that might distinguish classical from quantum mechanisms in a biological setting. Then loosely equate this information processing with the presence of quantum tunneling, state something about enzyme rate enhancement “as biochemical logic” or synaptic release “as a bit of quantum information processing” ... And in general I'm afraid I can't really make any sense of the rest of it.
Perhaps if you can reply here with another 21,900 or so characters I might get a better idea of what it is you are proposing?
