A New Model of Reality? DSRR (Dynamic Subjective Rendering)
Hi everyone,
I'm an independent researcher and I've spent the last few years developing a new hypothesis that attempts to unify some of the biggest puzzles in physics and consciousness.
I call it Dynamic Subjective Rendering of Reality (DSRR).
My core idea is that we've been looking at the measurement problem backwards. What if consciousness isn't just a passive observer, but the active "processor" or "renderer" that collapses quantum potential into classical reality?
I propose that the universe operates on a principle of informational economy ("Lazy Rendering") —it only renders what is required by an observer.
This model introduces a measurable parameter, νz (Subjective Frequency of Sampling), which acts as the "refresh rate" of consciousness. This framework provides a physical explanation for subjective time anomalies — that feeling of time slowing down in a crisis isn't an illusion; it's your νz frequency increasing, processing more "frames" of reality per second.
This isn't just philosophy; I've also proposed a specific experimental protocol to test it.

Science requires objective evidence, while your theory is subjective, and the way around the problem is to take a Functionalist approach that anyone else can duplicate. To do that, you have to translate your theory into words and concepts you can use to demonstrate how it works. Otherwise, there's no reason to assume we are not all machines, working for the Matrix.

I'd like to address them now, because they are surprisingly accurate descriptions of the DSRR model.

• Low νz (Low Render Frequency): The passenger on the train is in a "low attention" or "routine" state. They receive minimal information ("the landscape blurs by"). This perfectly matches the DSRR concept where, in routine moments, the consciousness lowers its νz to save energy, and subjective time "flies by".
• High νz (High Render Frequency): To "hear a bird singing," the passenger would have to stop the train, get out, and focus intensely. This stop is the "crisis" or "high-stress" moment where DSRR proposes the νz spikes, rendering more frames per second and causing subjective time to slow down.
You are correct: there is a fundamental trade-off between speed (getting to the destination) and detail (hearing the bird). DSRR posits this is a physical "Quantum Economy of Existence".
The Vector Graphics Analogy (Pixels vs. Geometry)

Again, this is precisely the DSRR model. My theory claims that the "smooth film" of classical time is an illusion. It is actually composed of a rapid succession of discrete, individual "frames" or "pixels"—these are the individual quantum collapses (the "render") happening 40-60 times per second.
Just as vector graphics create the illusion of a smooth line from many pixels, consciousness creates the illusion of smooth, continuous time by stringing together many discrete quantum renders (νz). The "Lost Frames" are the moments between these pixels.
The "Biophotons" Question

This is an excellent question. DSRR proposes that consciousness (the "render engine") requires a physical "quantum processor" (the hardware) to function. In my book, I follow the Orch-OR model, suggesting microtubules in neurons act as this hardware.
The oscillations of these microtubules, measured in the EEG gamma range (30-90 Hz), could absolutely be linked to (or even generate) structured biophotons. If such biophotons exist and are part of this process, they would certainly be detectable by the experimental protocol I proposed in Chapter 5 of the paper.

This is an even more profound question. In my last reply, I used your train analogy to explain the speed of the train (νz). You are now asking something deeper:

A "new station" (a new idea, an invention, a creative solution) isn't built while the train is moving (during classical, rendered time). It is selected from the reservoir of potential during the pause (in the Lost Frames) and is "rendered" into existence by the act of conscious selection (the νz "click").
This is how DSRR explains creativity and free will: we are not just passengers on a train; we are the "quantum architects" who help decide where the next station will be built.

In order to comprehend modern neurology, you must know its history, for those who never do get the punch lines, are doomed to repeat history.

Dualism is blatantly self-contradictory, but try telling that to a judge. There's a reason that both consciousness and humor remain total mysteries in academia, along with fuzzy logic, quantum mechanics, and relativity. The accepted English grammar is self-contradictory as well, and the brain doesn't obey classic logic. Even your visual system has proven to revolve around searching for what's missing from this picture, as simply the most efficient way to organize, and it's actually impossible for the huge number of cells in your body to organize any other way. It's distributed computing, requiring networking systems logic, for a gain amplifier.

Your brain looks for what's missing from this picture and, sometimes, you laugh, and learn to ignore something new. Only by learning what to ignore, can you figure out what to pay attention to, with the brain obeying proprioception, attempting to predict the next punch line. Consciousness is about getting the punch lines to the jokes, which is why academia has never found any evidence for its existence.

I tested my daughter when she was four months old, sticking a toy my mouth, shaking my head back and forth and growling like a dog, then, spit it out with a loud noise, like it tasted bad. Sure enough, she laughed hysterically, then started to ignore me after I repeated the joke a few times.
