In answering the question "Why is there anything at all, why not nothing?", it must be assumed that our world is a standalone, self-sufficient entity, with no meddling from the outside because there IS no outside, that created its own categories and relationships, and assigned its own numbers.
So, it is not the categories, relationships and number assignments that can’t be explained: it is the creative/ knowledge/ consciousness aspect of the world that can’t be explained.
However, realistically, there is seemingly now no such thing as a world-entity, there are only individual matter-entities that together comprise the world, each of which is a partially independent entity, that knows its own numbers, and can creatively assign/ jump its own numbers.
And realistically, there is no such thing as a “time-slice” of the world, a time-slice which in effect says that this and this and this is simultaneously, currently true, all over the entire world. Because realistically, there is nothing and no one who could do the “slicing”, and realistically, there is nothing and no one who would know about this “slice”.
Given a realistic way of looking at the world, there can only ever be a “matter-view” of the world, where what is currently true is what is currently simultaneously true from the point of view of an individual matter-entity, an entity which can then interact with other matter-entities.
This knowledge of what is currently true and what has currently changed, is a foundational level, logical/ algorithmic aspect of the world, also known as “consciousness”.
What is currently true can’t be represented in terms of categories, relationships and numbers alone; to represent what is currently true one needs to use logical/ algorithmic symbols like: AND, OR, and IS TRUE. Note that, together with the logical/ algorithmic symbols IF and THEN, these symbols can also be used to represent a higher-level analysis of what is currently, simultaneously true from the point of view of the matter-entity.
