Entanglement is not something that really happens. it was suggested by Einstein as a way to explain what is an artifact caused by using hypothetical superpositions of state, which only have definite location and value upon measurement or observation. It explains why under such circumstances the second measured particle has just the right state ,as one would expect of a partner even though it has just becomea singular particle according to that theory. Entanglement is not part of the real material Universe. That is the universe of real existing things. There is no need for it ir the alternative wave theory is used.

Why do inteligent people who claim to be physisists treat quantum physics as if it is real science. Physics is meant to be natural science ,explaining and modeling the existential World/Universe. Unlike pure mathematics, not grounded by existential considerations. Almost anything that can be imagined can be modlled by maths, freed from the constaint of having to be part of what does or has existed. A superposition is unlike anything known. So difficult to accurately describe with words because, we are told it is, though foundational, not a part of our experience, which words descibe, limited to the macroscopic and astronomic scales.
Waves. however, are known at many scales ,as is a varity of substances that act as host to wave happenings within them. The substance filling the voids does not show itself by reflecting light but allows it's transmission though it. The double slit experiment of Young is evidence of its existence. Prior experiment has failed to provide the evidence of it's existence. But that is not proof of non existence .It just took time to find the right experimental proof and to understand what was being shown. That the voids are filled nmakes sense. Nature abhors vacuum we are told. Action at a distance is hard to explain without it, The structued interior of particles may also benefit from this explanation.

A feature of nature is the occurance of fractal patterns. within the complexity ,the same processes are happening at different scales producing simiar looking results. QM is not like that. It asks for a scale unlike any other. Where there is non locality but not encountered elsewhere at other scales. Where superpostions are modelled to behave unlike the rest of nature.
Waves are known at different scales. They don't require suspension of disbelief.

'' Occam's razor is a problem-solving principle that states the simplest explanation is usually the best one. It's also known as the principle of parsimony or the law of parsimony. ''

The phrase 'self similar is' sometimes used to describe the occurance of fractals or their quality
having been identified in a process that generated a fractal or the fractal product.

It is unlikely that the very small quantum scale is utterly unlike larger scales, That non locality applies to the smallest scale but not elsewhere and is not known from larger scales; It doesn't fit with self similarity found throughout nature.

Yesterday I watched a video of Tim maudlin, in which he was very disparaging of Kants idea that things can exist of themselves and was unsympathetic to Einstein's Relativity needing a priori existence of matter unlike quantum mechanics which Einstein really didn't like, particularly because of 'spooky action at distance'. I would at the very least give the name and where abouts to find the video but I have been unable to relocate it. I have found that Tim Maudlin is in a lot of videos spanning many years which I have also enjoyed watching.

I. Kant was on to something .He realises the need for an obsever independent material existence as well as what we are aware of, our relative perception, but doesn't really explain why this is neccessary.
The necessity of apriori material existence before observer involvemen Georgina Woodward
Human beings do not see material things /objects-themselves. They see liknesses ( observation products also called Image realities) which are formed from the reciept and processing of sensory data obtained at that particular place, at that time, by that observer. What is seen corresponds to the brain activity that is stimulated .In particular the visual cortex where the image is identified and parts of the brain where associated memory and learning is located. The sensory data that is used to provide vision is photon particles ,released by material objects into the environment and carried by waves though it. Only when processed, is the likeness seen. it corresponds to the object when the sesnsory data was released not when recieved by an obsever. Thus it is seen as it was not neccesarily as it is now/ has become. In order to shed sensory data an object must necessarily exist as such.
Georgina Woodward
When after release into the environment, the sensory data is recieved by an observer or absorbed by a non observer object varies depending on position of object and observer and other objects in the local environment. How long the photon has travelled through the environment before reciept gives a sort of time dimension to be included in modelling what is seen, as well as the spatial ones .For human vision it is 2d amagamation of images from two eyes each having a vertical and horizontal axis, as well as perspective dimension overlapping the previously mentioned time dimension, which is orthoganal to them. This is about what is seen, not what exists independently of observation.
Georgina Woodward
I often hear it said that we live in a simulation. It is so because the brain simulates the external environment, including mapping of constituents using the sensory data available to it,. Awareness of what is in the external local enviroment sensed by the organism and experienced as sensations ( vision, hearing, olfaction or smelling, touch and taste ) and the organisms endocrine response to them and the sensory data , experienced as feelings.

An observation product generateded by a human sensory sysyem is not a material object, though it may have the appearance of it. It is an incomplete semblance, can not independently function and usually just a surface appearance.
It is generated intrernally although it appears to be outside. the amalgumated hoizontal and vertical dimensions, the perspective dimension and virtual time dimension all pertain to the generated simulation, electrical activation of brain material or, mind, not real matter itself. The simulation is perdurant in a virtual manner, as the parts of it are simulated from sensory data that has taken different times to reach the observer together. The semblance of something as it was can be seen overlaid the material object as it is. The is no reason to assume material objects have parts at different times ,they are likely wholly at a time but have ,according to their type some endurance. Growth, repair and maintenance apply to material objects.

with a new structure to existance and the seen, some language s needed to describe what we have. The currently seen= the present
The currently existing=-Now
Past, previously existing structure of matter.
Future, as it applies to material reality, not yet existing ,imagine, open/becomming.
What can be seen .Different obsevers experience the same events at different times due to their different location from the event. This means that what is the present for one obsever is in the future for another.
Material history, the spatial dimensions spread along a time dimension but what materially exists is at one time only .The past is recycled not duplicated as that would violate the 1st law of thermodynamics.

I did think it was strange mathematically that the dimensions of the observation product/ image reality was inside the dimensions of material reality. The observation product being an immaterial consequence of brain activity , a simulation, it is clear that the obsevation product and the percieved dimensions of the product vs the material object , belong to different categories. That needs remembering and is why they are able to fit. E.g. seen - night , sky , mountains, fields, cat and their descriptive dimensions (including time dimension pertaining to delay in sensory reciept and perdurantism) fits inside a material human body standing within a material landcape with a material cat living animal under a night sky full of unseen material , celestial bodies. 3 spatial dimensions, existing wholly -Now but endurant. Sequential change from Now to Now

Time is concepually different depening on whether we are dealing with the immaterial generated seen or material Object reality. i.e. immaterial self generated simulation or material unseen material particdfulate matter.
Universal sequentiaL change of the becoming material, Object reality, is occuring in such a way that it is always-Now. Time can be appreciated by considering the history ( changes of structure or distribution that have occured ) or imagining what will be.
When instead talking about what is appreciated through the senses ,taking here primarily of sight; as well as the sensory data released having been affected by sequential change affecting material source bodies, there is also the variable delay between sensory data release ino the environment and its reciept by an obsever or other body of matter.
The unsensed Object reality has a foliation order that is absolute . All is at the same time and stays at the same one and only time of existing things, though the amount of change varies from place to place. This is like Einstein's proper time when there is hypothetically no delay between sensory data release and reciept for a near clock travelling with the observer. it is also like Newton's absolute passage of time. Additional delay in sensory data reciept is what allows relativity of obsever expierience.
Having the same name for the two different occurances is confusing . This version can be called relative time.

Luminiferous ether ( the hypothetical light bearing medium) has not been found by experiment possibly because assumed characteristics of such a medium have been incorrect .We can not necessarily expect it to behave exactly the same as a medium consisting of particles of matter . It's perhaps so finely grained, like a neuretrino, it can pass right through the Earth and not be dragged .It may be continuous and not grained at all or be a soup of sub atomic constituants that do not behave like structured atoms .In the way that Bose-Einstein condensates have been shown to exhibit strange behaviour.

- Absolute 3d space and absolute sequential foliation of passage of time that pertains to material things gives an Object reality independent of observation that is deterministic. Adding another layer that separates us from directly sensing that ,including the addition of variable time delay of sensory reciept (when the object source is seen / ,i.e. when the data was added to the environment) itself affects what is seen. Particularly if there is change occuring to the system or object investigated, Even one outcome can be viewed many ways to give individually different results.

Imagining we can know every factor and its influence on the outcome of a process, we can imagine full determinism known, but that's not so easy when human choice and why it is made a certain way is concerned, It involves perhaps the biological (e.g. genetics, epigenetics, metaboliasm., diet, the psychological (including priming , favorite colour), percieved difference of reward for different outcomes) , historical influences , memory association and other factors not just simple chemical or physical occurances.

Age and familiariy with the individual circumstances presented, may effect choice and time delay that the 'will be observer' allows when making the selection. i.e. younger humans may choose quickly, as their parents did. Conforming to the proven, sucessful strategy, thinking fast. Whereas older teens and young adults may deliberately choose a differently from parents and more like their peers, hoping to achive kudos for their bravado and independence from parental guidance. Confoming instead with peer pressure .against the parental choice made quickly without much thought as the outcome doesn't seem important or able to be influenced. Even time taken making the decision might affect the out come if there is ongoing change affecting
the experimental system. A cat that is alive at 1pm might be dead at 2pm.
I am making assumptions about the different behaviour of different age groups.. An actual experiment could be conducted to test this.

Two kinds of time having an effect what's seen
Sensory signal delay or relative time (greater amount of total delay the further from events occurance, plus 'proper time' passage of time at the observer's location shown by local , near clock there.
At a local near event, there is negligible signal delay or relative time but an observation is affected by local passage of time ,the material change that is occuring and affecting the sensory data that is released into the environment and some of it will be detectedby the observer.
